Top pick: #5 (QUEENAMEINA) - Daughter of "Read the Footnotes" debuted sprinting locally on Dec. 10. She took some money that day and broke "slowly" and also had to "check" early. To her credit she finished sixth, beaten 11 1/2 lengths in a race with a long gone winner. Trainer Gary Contessa has given her five weeks since that initial run and he's put a trio of stamina building works into her as she drops and stretches-out in distance. The top pick.
2nd pick: #8 (Frontal Stride) - Filly didn't run a lick last out but it came on a "muddy" track facing special weights. Trainer Tom Bush drops her way down this afternoon and also adds blinkers. Contender.
3rd pick: #6 (Divine Majesty) - Firster from the barn of Richard Dutrow (23% with debuting stock) was initially prepared at Turfway Park before shipping east. Daughter of "Raffie's Majesty" is training well locally and Dominguez is aloft. When riding for Dutrow he wins at an unbelieveble 47% rate. Obvious win threat.
