Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (GAME GIRL) (3-1) - Filly is dropping in class, stretching out in distance, and has blinkers added. Daughter of 'Congrats' is making back-to-back starts for the first time and trainer Bill Mott has worked her three times since her last start (Dec 6).
2nd pick: #5 (Ice Palace) (7-2) - One of two entered by trainer Dave Cannizzo and the pair race uncoupled. Filly had no chance in her debut when she was bumped and squeezed at the break. Barn drops her in class and leading rider Irad Ortiz Jr. stays aboard. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Philjangle) (8-1) - She ships in from Penn National where she ran evenly while finishing fourth of 10 sprinting. It was her first ever on conventional dirt and she can factor today at a square price.
4th pick: #7 (Legend of Lorelei) (5-1) - One of two entered by trainer Gary Contessa and the two maidens race as separate betting interests. She finished second here at this level and distance Dec 9, but had a comfortable inside journey. She moves out in the gate and will need to do a bit better.
