Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (LUCKYBUCK SYNDROME) (5-2) - He raced very poorly last out as the favorite going a mile on the main track here Dec. 6th. He had finished 2nd in his previous start and is reunited with his rider that day (Aaron Gryder). The main speed, he breaks just off the rail, and drops in class.
2nd pick: #1 (Big East) (4-1) - He's shown some speed in both starts and is working fast for this attempt. He has the rail and is taking the same drop in class as 'Luckybuck.' He should be involved from gate-to-wire.
3rd pick: #3 (Coach Potenza) (12-1) - Longshot is dropping in class and stretching out in distance. Trainer Jeremiah Englehart adds blinkers (28%), and I think this home bred can be competitive at a big price.
4th pick: #10 (Par) (5-1) - No speed type draws a tough outside post to go along with his closing style. He's from the Pletcher barn and should show some improvement in his third lifetime start.
