Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (BARONET) (5-2) - She missed by a half-length when debuting here in a large field (12) at this level going 5.5 furlongs Jan. 15th. She had a tough outside post and moves from the 12-slot to the rail. Pompa home bred will be hard to beat with a 'trouble' free trip.
2nd pick: #3 (Show Giant) (5-1) - Speedy and lightly raced, she's dropping back down in class and shortening up in distance. Well backed in all three starts, filly worked a bullet three furlongs at Belmont Feb. 19th.
3rd pick: #8 (Little Bear Cat) (8-1) - Lightly raced filly has some speed and is dropping in class for her second back from a nine-month layoff. In an under-rated barn (Dave Cannizzo), and Kendrick Carmouche is aboard.
4th pick: #4 (Marakovits) (3-1) - She tired readily last out after sprinting to the early lead. Competitive in three starts prior to that, trainer Charlie Baker is dropping her down to this tag for the first time.
