Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (BENNY BIG BOY) (7-2) - He finished 3rd here at this level Jan. 13 in his first start since Nov. 18. Wide the entire race, he stayed on well. Gelding has breezed three times since, including a bullet half-mile work at Belmont Feb. 11. Gets a slight edge.
nd pick: #3 (Save the Tigers) (4-1) - One of two entered by trainer Carlos Martin, and the pair race uncoupled. He finished 4th here at this tag and trip Feb. 3 and did so despite not having the best of trips. Dangerous in this spot.
rd pick: #2 (Martino) (8-1) - The second of the pair from Carlos Martin, longshot has been racing evenly in a series of sprints at this level. He has the rail, is stretching out in distance, and has blinkers on. Has a solid shot at a square price.
th pick: #10 (Right Ben) (10-1) - 'Ben' stretches out in his second start back off a two-month layoff. He has more early speed than most and drops 6lbs with apprentice Diaz aboard.
th pick: #1 (Flux Capacitor) (5-2) - The probable favorite, he's been sharp in two straight here at this level and distance. However, he's had good trips in each and moves to a very tough outside post for this attempt. Can factor, but is no 'lock' at a short price.
