Top pick: #8 (TRIUMPHAL) - He's making his first start since July of last year at Arlington. He raced well here last winter, and has been training in fast fashion at Penn National for his return. New trainer (Greg DiPrima) is a solid 19% with recent arrivals.
2nd pick: #9 (Federal Deposit) - Troubled start on Jan. 17, but gelded son of "City Zip" flew home to finish fourth, beaten by just a length. Lasix is added, as is a better jockey. He's worked twice since, and those drills were intended to put speed in him.
3rd pick: #7 (Jaystone) - He was forced to steady around the far turn in his debut on a sloppy track here on Jan. 7. Sharp barn (Chad Brown) has had him work twice since, and he's a win contender.
