Top pick: #1 (LAWMAKER) (5-2) - Classier type chased and finished evenly facing tougher here on Dec. 7. It was his second back off a pair of layoffs and trainer Todd Pletcher drops him down to a career soft spot this afternoon. Home bred by "Malibu Moon" draws the rail and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Empower) (4-1) - Darley home bred is very lightly-raced and is working sharply for his first start since March 1st. He returns as a first time gelding and if he runs to his works the rest are in trouble.
3rd pick: #2 (Inca Saint) (6-1) - Speed/stalker enters off a solid second-place finish here at this level and distance on Dec. 4. He's worked nicely since and should be involved from start-to-finish.
4th pick: #3 (Woke Up Tired) (12-1) - He's racing off his third straight layoff and had a sharp half-mile breeze on Dec. 14. May grab a share at a square price with his best effort.
