Top pick: #10 (BROADWAY HAT) (2-1) - The probable favorite, he was heavily bet when debuting at Belmont May 11th and came up a 1/2 lenght short after contesting a very quick pace. Working fast for his return, he was in Florida at Palm Meadows for the past 6 weeks before shipping back north. A recent fine drill at Belmont coupled with Dominguez's presence makes him tough.
2nd pick: #2 (Pleasure Principle) (5-2) - Dangerous foe has been sharp in both appearances and was beaten a head on the main-track here at this level on Nov 17. Training fine since, this is his "home" track and trainer Rick Dutrow has him making back-to-back starts for the first time. Win candidate, Dominguez opts for the top pick.
3rd pick: #6 (Nail It) (8-1) - Home-bred ran 3rd in his debut and has had serious traffic issues in his last pair. Gelding had a fast work at Belmont on the 14 and should be a square price.
