Top pick: #2 (CORONATE) (5-2) - Colt by "Corinthian" has run well in both starts at Churchill and was sold privately to the leading trainer at this meet (Dave Jacobson) after his last start. Speed/stalker has the best form and gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #7 (Horsepower) (3-1) - Son of "Bernardini" cost $420K and drops into a $50K claimer. He's shown good speed in both starts and trainer Chad Brown will stretch him out in distance and has him making back-to-back starts for the first time. Strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Big Sam) (6-1) - He goes turf to dirt and rallied to run second here on the grass for a $35K tag in his first race in 10 months. This is his first on the dirt and he's a stretch threat if he takes to the new surface.
4th pick: #4 (Media Kid) (15-1) - Longshot continues to race evenly and finish within hailing distance. He stretches back out and could grab a minor award at a big price.
