Top pick: #1 (GLOBAL POSITIONING) (5-2) - Broman home bred by "Malibu Moon" chased while wide and gamely held down the place spot when debuting at this level and distance Nov. 21. A very strong second-out barn (Mike Hushion 35%) has worked him twice since and adds blinkers. Colt draws the rail and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #5 (David Rocks) (9-2) - Home bred by "Bustin Stones" finished a strong second when debuting at Belmont Oct. 18, then tired to check in fourth last out while 7 1/2 lengths back of "Global Positioning." He moves off the rail and races with blinkers on. Contends in this spot.
3rd pick: #6 (Andrew's Got Zip) (3-1) - "Andrew" has been bet in both outings and was much improved last out. He broke sharply and stayed on gamely to finish second. Gelding by "City Zip" has worked well since and gets the addition of blinkers.
4th pick: #9 (Copernicus) (20-1) - Longshot has broken poorly in both appearances. He continues to do good things in the morning and probably has more talent than shown to date. May grab a share at a very big price.
