Top pick: #9 (C C'S PRIDE) (3-1) - Mare missed by a 'head' at this claiming price going two-turns on the inner-surface March 12th. It was her first since Jan 18 when she was claimed for that price by Bruce Levine. Veteran draws a nice outside post and is shortening up in distance to a one-turn affair. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (She'sgotthemoves) (4-1) - Lightly-raced mare drops in class while stretching out in distance. Five-year-old ran evenly for twice this tag on March 1st in her first since Dec 23 and has worked three times heading into this. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Ocean Boulevard) (3-1) - She ships up from Philly Park where she rallied from far back to win a 7-furlong contest for a $16K tag March 1st. Four-year-old has been competitive in 6-of-7 starts since joining the barn of Rick Violette Jr. last fall at Belmont. The faster the pace, the better her chances.
4th pick: #7 (Taylor Jagger) (5-1) - She enters in shape and racing first off a claim. Even-paced type is a bit light on figures and I believe a small slice at a square price is her ceiling.
