Top pick: #2 (UNO DUO) (6-5) - Lightly-raced grey filly chased while wide before tiring in the final furlong to finish fourth as the favorite going 7 furlongs at Belmont on Oct. 20 in a similar "overnight" stakes. Nice effort came off a 100 day freshening and she should be sharper this afternoon. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Indian Splendor) (5-1) - Speed/stalker has been freshened up since winning an "off the turf" sprint against weaker at Saratoga on Sept. 2. She was in career best shape at that time and is a threat if she returns in that same form.
3rd pick: #1 (Heiresstothecrown) (15-1) - No-speed type runs first off a Dom Schettino claim and second back from a three month break. Strong finisher has blinkers on and should get a fast and/or contested pace to rally into.
