Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (INDY'S LADY) (7-2) - Finger Lakes shipper has won two of three there with her lone loss coming when facing males in a rich stakes Sept. 30. Purchased for $150,000 as a 2-year-old in training this past May, she's won from both on and off the pace and Jose Ortiz is aboard in her local debut. Gets a slight edge in a competitive stakes.
2nd pick: #7 (Pure Silver) (2-1) - She won her first three starts and defeated G2 'open' company when taking Saratoga's prestigious Adirondack Stakes Aug. 12. She's lost her last pair, but had a rough trip going a mile Oct. 21 at Belmont. Dangerous today.
3rd pick: #8 (Tayler's the Boss) (3-1) - Heavily bet in both starts, she was an impressive gate-to-wire maiden winner at Belmont Oct. 5. Working well for her new trainer (Steve Asmussen) the second place finisher in her win scored easily here last weekend. Must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #4 (Newport Breeze) (8-1) - She received what I thought was a poor ride going a mile at Belmont Oct. 21. Competitive in three straight prior to that and she enters off a fine half-mile breeze Nov. 17. Can factor at a square price.
