Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (SWITZERLAND) (2-1) - Expensive ($500,000) son of 'Speightstown' has the rail, is working fast, and has been sharp in all three starts on the main track when it's labeled Fast. Three-year-old can stalk a bit if necessary and his ground saving post gives him a slight edge.
2nd pick: #4 (Tommy T) (5-2) - Sharp in all four starts, colt has been beaten no more hat 2.5 lengths in each. Speed/stalker enters off a bullet 5 furlong work at Belmont Nov. 24 and trainer Bob Barbara has Irad Ortiz Jr back aboard following a two race absence. An obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Fooch) (5-1) - NEW gelding has only made one start and hat came in late February at Gulfstream Park. He tired that day at this level after showing sharp early speed, is working steadily, and trainer Wesley Ward (23% off of long layofs) has John Velazquez aboard.
4th pick: #6 (Stan the Man) (4-1) - He was a 'neck' better than 'Tommy T' here Nov. 5 in his first ace since Sept. 10. Stalker worked fast on the Nov. 18th and should get a fast and/or contested pace to rally into. Must be left in he mix.
