Top pick: #5 (GIANTINTHEMOONLITE) (7-5) - The probable favorite, he's well bred, talented, and still improving. Home bred by "Giant's Causeway" has finished second at Belmont in two straight at this level and they came against better fields than this. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Mighty Zealous) (5-2) - Speedy gelding enters off a sharp effort here Nov. 15. He stalked a quick pace, looked like the winner in late stretch, but came up a "nose" short. It was his first stat since June 8th and it earned him a career best figure. The main danger.
3rd pick: #1 (Saltine Warrior) (5-1) - He's been competitive in two straight dirt sprints after racing seven consecutive times on the grass. Stalker has the rail and can factor, but he was a bit over four lengths in back of "Mighty Zealous" last out.
4th pick: #6 (Wild Finish) (8-1) - He ships in from Finger Lakes where he went 3-1-1-0 there after being claimed at Saratoga by Jeremiah Englehart for $20K. He's won on the NYRA circuit in the past and may grab a share at a big price.
