Top pick: #1 (PATRIOT'S VOYAGE) (3-1) - Tough call as he's by far the class of the field but hasn't raced since late March. Speedy 6-year-old was in the Baffert ban at that time and was sold privately to Dave Jacobson during the spring. He draws the rail and should win this if ready.
2nd pick: #8 (Attractive Ride) (6-1) - Veteran has been to the winner's circle 17-times in his long career and is 7 for 20 at this trip. Nearing his 9th birthday, he's still very competitive and has gone 10-4-2-3 this year. Blinkers go on and he's a major threat if "Patriot's Voyage" isn't ready.
3rd pick: #7 (Love to Run) (7-2) - Speed/stalker is cutting back in distance and dropping down in his 2nd off a Gary Gullo claim. He's back in shape following a pair of layoffs and should be involved turning for home.
4th pick: #4 (Piquant) (5-1) - He's racing second back from a two month break and first off a Rudy Rodriguez claim. He has plenty of back class, has worked sharply since the positive barn switch, and it's noted that Irad Ortiz Jr. takes the mount.
