Top pick: #3 (DELEGATED) - Speedy colt shortens-up in distance, switches from turf to dirt, and drops down in price. Son of "Smoke Glacken" has been competitive in all three starts facing tougher and should be acle to defeat this group.
2nd pick: #5 (Ry Bread) - Clearly the main speed and he ships back from Monmouth where he did not show his customary speed and was never involved while racing wide. He'd been competitive in his previous pair at Saratoga, and lost by a neck there at this distance and price on Aug.13. Working nicely for this and Ramon Dominguez gets aboard him for the first time. Very dangerous.
3rd pick: #2 (Volition) - Gelding by "A.P.Indy" hasn't raced since a sub-par effort at Saratoga at this distance facing special weights Sep 1. He'd been sharp in his previous start and is working fast for this. Trainer John Kimmel drops him into a career soft spot and he's a win candidate.
