2nd pick: #6 (Klickitat) (2-1) - Expensive ($220,000) colt overcame a troubled break to finish a fast-closing 3rd when debuting in an 8.5-furlong turf contest at Belmont Park Oct. 25. He worked very fast on the dirt Nov. 9 and trainer Brad Cox (21% 2nd time out) switches him to the main track and this mile trip should suit him.
3rd pick: #1 (Wild Boar) (5-2) - He's rallied to finish 4th in both starts and finished much closer Oct. 26 at Belmont. $170K purchase is stretching out to a mile, has a ground-saving post, and is making back-to-back starts for the first time. Son of 'Tale of the Cat' must be left in the three horse win mix.
