She was a winner at this level and distance Sept 16 at Belmont and trainer Gary Gullo has given her almost a two month break. Working nicely and she has a flexible style.
2nd pick: #2 (Bridgetta) (7-2) - Veteran mare is dropping to a new low in claiming price. Six-year-old has raced evenly in her last pair at Belmont when facing tougher. Speed/stalker has run well here in the past, draws a good post, and she gets some weight off. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Trail Walker) (12-1) - Long shot has fine early speed and is moving from an outside post to the rail. Mare was only 2 1/2 back of 'Time for Angie' at Belmont Sept 16 and she should be involved today from start-to-finish at a square price.
4th pick: #6 (Chelsea Road) (5-2) - Barn (John Parisella) is three for four at this young meet. He claimed this mare for $25K in early August at Saratoga and sent her in for almost a 2 1/2 month break. She ran evenly in her return at Belmont Oct 16 and is dropping way down for this attempt. Can't be eliminated, but she'll be a short price.
