Top pick: #7 (HEIR TO DARE) (3-1) - Very fast from the gate, she was an easy winner at Belmont racing for a $20K tag on Oct. 18 and was claimed that day by Dom Galluscio. Consistent 11-3-4-3, and mare can win this by out-running "D'Princess" for the early lead.
2nd pick: #2 (D'Princess) (4-1) - Filly is pretty fast in her own right and runs for the first time since Sept. 26. Working well, has back class, and is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Edie) (6-1) - Mare has had a great year (5-2-1-2) racing on the grass and trainer Chris Englehart will move her to the dirt and shorten her up in distance. She's won on the dirt in the past and should get a quick pace to rally into.
4th pick: #3 (Candy and Thunder) (8-1) - In the dangerous barn of Dave Jacobson, filly was a stakes winner in 2012, but hasn't raced since June 21st at Calder. Can factor with her best if ready.
