2nd pick: #10 (Cotton House) (3-1) - Well bred colt raced evenly when debuting in a turf sprint facing tougher July 8 at Belmont. Given a two month break by trainer Chris Clement, home bred by 'Malibu Moon' tired badly going a mile on a sloppy surface Sept. 9 also at Belmont. Clement drops him into a claimer (33%), is adding lasix (14%), and think this one's a win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Angelo's Corner) (4-1) - He raced evenly when debuting on the Saratoga turf at this distance Sept. 1, then tired in the Belmont slop at this tag Oct. 11. The gelding has the rail, some early speed, and has newly arrived 5 lb apprentice Gutierrez aboard. He's won 85 races out of town so he knows how to ride.
4th pick: #1 (Golden Brew) (15-1) - Entered twice on the grass, both races have been switched to 'off' going on the main track. He's on the turf today and trainer Rudy Rodriguez comes off a strong finish at the just completed Fall meet at Belmont.
