Top pick: #1 (YO BLUE) (3-1) - He's the main speed in a rather paceless field on paper and will be dropping down in price and breaking from the rail. Home-bred runs third back from a three month layoff and I like his chances.
2nd pick: #2 (In Todd We Trust) (7-2) - Lightly-raced son of "Tiznow," he ran very poorly here sprinting against special weights 12 days ago in his first off a Dave Jacobson claim and a subsequent 7 week freshening. Barn brings him back quickly, stretches him out in distance, and drops him down to the purchase price.
3rd pick: #4 (Al Aqsa) (5-2) - Shadwell Farms home-bred rallied to finish close up on The Gulfstream grass on Feb. 24 racing at this tag. Solid try was his second off a 9 1/2 month vacation and trainer Kiaran McLaughlin moves him to the dirt.
4th pick: #3 (Unprecedented) (6-1) - His career has been broken up by many layoffs, but he has talent, some speed, and is working well at Belmont for this attempt.
