Top pick: #7 (DIRTY OLD TOWN) - He was a very good looking maiden winner here on a sloppy surface Jan. 27 in his first start in 7 months. Gelding stumbled at the start on Feb. 26 in his first facing winners in a race best viewed as a "toss". Drops slightly, comes back in 19 days for this, and stalker draws outside of the pace. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #5 (Exact Again) - The probable favorite, he was a sharp maiden winner here on Feb. 11 in his second back off a 7 1/2 month break. 4-year-old gelding by "Awesome Again" is lightly raced, well spotted by trainer Linda Rice, and this well-bred runner has room for improvement. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Taconic Knight) - Nice effort last out saw him race very wide and check-in a close up fourth here just six days ago. Effort was a career best and came in his first off a claim by the fine barn of Juan Guerrero. Trainer made a habit at Philly Park of winning with claims and quick turnarounds. Grey gelding must be left in the mix.
