Top pick: #1 (EVEN RAISE) - Surface-loving veteran (5-3-2-0) just failed (a "nose") on Dec. 5 in his first race in two months. He had a tough middle part of the year as he's never been real sharp at Belmont, but this is his territory and he'll be very tough to beat this afternoon given the level and distance.
2nd pick: #2 (Redding Colliery) - The main speed and he has the advantageous rail post. He tired last out in the "Discovery" (G3) after setting the pace until the top of the stretch. He'll take them as far as he can.
