Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (TAGHLEEB) (3-1) - Shadwell home bred has been freshened up since late October when he won a 2x allowance going 1 1/8th miles at Keeneland. It was his first in blinkers and was only his second start ever on the dirt. Strong finisher gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #3 (Majestic Affair) (5-2) - Lightly-raced and in the barn of Chad Brown, he's racing off a seven week break and for only the second time since early April. Speed/stalker has been in six straight stakes and won two of those at shorter distances. Working above average and he could take this group from start-to-finish if ready.
3rd pick: #4 (Souper Knight) (5-1) - He was a winner over weaker going a one-turn mile on the main track here Nov 20. Nice effort came first off a Rudy Rodriguez claim and a subsequent two month freshening. He was claimed again that day, this time by Dave Jacobson for $62,500. Veteran fits with his best and should offer some value.
