Top pick: #4 (FEVERISH LOOT) (9-2) - Canadian bred is going dirt to turf and stretching back out in distance. Gelding by 'Midnight Lute' was competitive on the grass last year at Woodbine and speed/stalker has a solid shot at a square price.
2nd pick: #9 (Imawarrior) (5-2) - Five-year-old has been on the sidelines since early summer. Gelding by 'Indian Charlie' has been sharp in his grass starts 3-0-1-2 and last out before the layoff he finished a close up third at Belmont racing for twice this tag. Training steadily at Fair Hill and is an obvious strong win candidate if ready.
3rd pick: #2 (Tricoastal) (4-1) - He's going dirt to turf and moving up slightly in class. Three-year-old finished second on the local dirt for a $16K tag April 17th and is brought back quickly for this by trainer Gary Contessa. One-run type must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #8 (Constantine) (10-1) - He was almost 5-back of 'Tricoastal' last out, but did show some early speed in a bit of an improved effort. A major disappointment, this $200K 4-year-old by 'Roman Ruler' is trying the grass for the first time.
