All were on the grass and he was beaten two lengths or less in each. Gelding by 'Uncle Mo' has worked twice at Belmont since coming north and he gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #1 (Habits) (5-1) - The field's only first-time starter, he enters off a pair of bullet drills on the local dirt. In the barn of Rudy Rodriguez (23% first out) this expensive gelded son of 'More Than Ready' has the rail and meets a rather weak group. Can factor at a square price if ready. The presence of Irad Ortiz Jr. is duly noted.
3rd pick: #6 (Greyjoy) (8-1) - Grey gelding is stretching out in distance and moving from dirt to turf. Four-year-old has finished second in two straight sprints on the main track and still has room for upside. Must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #10 (Datamining) (4-1) - Fair Grounds invader has been beaten narrowly in both previous grass starts. He's been working at Keeneland before trainer Joe Sharp sent him here and this $100K colt by 'Harlan's Holiday' will be finishing fast.
