Top pick: #5 (GOLDEN CHEETAH) (8-5) - Veteran mare appears to be racing back into form after returning from a two month layoff in late January. Stretch runner rallied to finish third here at this level on April following a slow start. Six-year-old was a 'neck' back of today's rival 'Bit Bustin' and will contend with that runner again for the top spot.
2nd pick: #2 (Bit Bustin) (7-5) - The probable favorite, she's racing third back from a 14 1/2 month layoff and is the main speed. Mare set a quick and pressured pace here at this level April 2nd and tired to finish a distant second. Home bred was a 'neck' better than 'Cheetah' that day and is an obvious win candidate, but at a short price.
3rd pick: #6 (Gingee) (12-1) - She continues to race evenly, and at this stage, unless she improves significantly the top two selections are far more likely to win this. A small slice is possible at a square price.
