Premium Pick

Top pick: #5 (INDIAN FIGHTER) (8-5) - Lightly-raced gelding won here at this claiming price Jan 11, but was disqualified and placed second for bumping a rival nearing the finish. Freshened up following that contest, he tired in his return March 22nd at Laurel facing tougher. Trainer Rudy Rodriguez brings him back quickly and drops him in class. Gets a slight edge.

2nd pick: #3 (Call Daddy) (5-2) - He has early speed and is dropping in class for his second back from a 70-day layoff. Gelding broke poorly in his return March 13 and tired after rushing up. He's worked very fast since and is a strong win candidate.

3rd pick: #6 (Perfect American) (4-1) - Long time maiden moves back up in class after finishing second here at this distance a week ago racing for a $30K tag. Speed/stalker draws a good post in this small field and should be competitive.

4th pick: #4 (Mizner Park) (12-1) - He's been competitive in three of his four sprints and in lone poor effort he was bumped soundly at the start. Working fast for this and he's an alternative price play if you don't like the other picks.
