Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (GOOD OLD BOY) (6-1) - He showed an improved race last out at Belmont when he stayed close to the pace while wide before weakening late. Gelding moves from the 11 post to the rail and has a good shot at a square price.
nd pick: #10 (English Channical) (10-1) - Longshot set the pace before tiring very late going a mile here for a $50K tag facing 'open' company Nov. 24. Trainer Gary Contessa brings him back quickly, shortens him up, and has him back in with fellow New York beds.
rd pick: #4 (Just Bustin) (12-1) - Another longshot, NEW gelding has shown early speed before weakening in both starts. He's cutting back a furlong and is making back-to-back starts for the first time.
th pick: #7 (Pequino Grande) (8-1) - From the barn of leading trainer Rudy Rodriguez, colt raced evenly when beaten only 3.5 lengths when debuting at this level and distance Oct. 28 at Belmont Park. He's worked him three times since and yet another who could factor at a big price.
th pick: #2 (Throw the Deuce) (5-2) - The morning line favorite, he rallied to finish second Oct. 28 at Belmont in a race common to several others. A late threat, but he'll need to avoid any traffic in this large field to succeed.
