2nd pick: #5 (Thirsty Actor) (3-1) - One of two making their debuts, $146K purchase runs for a $40K tag. From the Pletcher barn (19% first out) has him working well and John Velazquez is aboard.
3rd pick: #4 (Hard Work) (4-1) - Son of 'Broken Vow' ships from Laurel where he showed little Oct. 15. Race was a sprint facing special weights and he's dropping in class and stretching out in distance.
4th pick: #6 (Seven East) (6-1) - The other first timer, he's by 'Big Brown' and is under the care of veteran Pat Reynolds that Derby winner's initial trainer. The work series is fine and he can factor if ready.
