Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (MARCONI) (7-2) - One of two entered by trainer Todd Pletcher and the pair race uncoupled. This grey son of 'Tapit' was one of the most expensive yearlings sold during 2016. He cost $2,000,000 and has been in steady training since late August. This is a tough distance to make your first start at, but it's noted that he has Javier Castellano aboard.
2nd pick: #1 (Biblical) (5-2) - The second of the Pletcher pair, this son f 'Tapit' sold for $800,000 at Saratoga in 2016. He' finished third going 8.5 furlongs at Belmont Sep 30 and has been working above average since. Bred for this trip, I almost made him the top choice and he should be viewed that way.
3rd pick: #5 (St Augustine) (4-1) - Well in a racing rarity, this is yet another son of 'Tapit' entered. He's raced evenly in his first pair going shorter and colt was bet in each. Expecting him to be involved early and stay on until the end at a square price.
