Top pick: #4 (GROUND FORCE) - He's finished second in three of his last four starts at this level, and last out at Belmont he gave the talented "Cribnote" all he could handle. Has a flexible style and there's a lot of potential pace in here for him to track. Gets a slight edge in a very competitive contest.
2nd pick: #7 (Capitol Hook) - Speedy sort set/pressed the pace last out and weakened to finish fourth behind both "Force" and "Trio". That was his first race in eight months and he should be much sharper today as trainer Steve Asmussen brings him back quickly.
3rd pick: #8 (Modern Child) - Reported to be a runner before his debut last March, and he proved his backers correct with an easy win as a very heavy favorite. He chased and tired four weeks later at this level and hasn't seen action since that April 9th contest. Working fast and Dominguez is aboard for the first time.
