Top pick: #10 (LISMORE) (4-1) - Excellent debut saw this grey filly by "Tiznow" rally to finish second going 7-furlongs at this level at Belmont Sept. 26th. Trainer George Weaver has given her almost seven weeks of freshening, adds lasix, and stretches her out in distance. Her post is not ideal on this "tight" course, but she can take this if able to avoid a wide trip.

nd pick: #8 (Trensita) (7-2) - Daughter of "Curlin" raced evenly when debuting in a grass sprint at Saratoga on Aug. 10th. Given six weeks of rest by trainer Mike Matz, she rallied to miss by a "neck" when stretched out to this distance at Belmont on Sept. 19th. Home bred has worked four times in the past month and is a win candidate.

rd pick: #4 (Accord) (15-1) - Longshot has some early speed and has finished fourth in her first pair, both on "sloppy" tracks. Those two contests were originally scheduled for the turf, and daughter of "Lemon Drop Kid" gets to run on the grass in this spot. Can factor at a big price.

th pick: #2 (Cover Up) (8-1) - Phipps home bred has had problems at the break in all three starts, and last out recovered to finish a distant second at this level & distance on the Belmont dirt. Trainer "Shug" McGaughey moves her to the grass, and daughter of "Tapit" worked a sharp half-mile just one week ago.

th pick: #1 (Seeking) (4-1) - Filly by "Mizzen Mast" rallied from far back to finish third of 12, beaten almost three lengths when debuting at this trip on Oct. 19th at Belmont. Has the rail, and she'll need to stay a bit closer early for any shot at the win end.
