Well bred 3-year-old has worked since and trainer Jimmy Jerkens will add blinkers (a 19% winning angle by the barn). Daughter of 'Smart Strike' gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #1 (Beating Her Heart) (8-5) - The morning line favorite, she's been on the sidelines since Dec 31 when she raced both wide and evenly while checking in third at this level and distance. Filly is training steadily right here at Aqueduct and 3-year-old has a new trainer (Michelle Nevin, 24% with new arrivals). A strong win candidate if ready.
3rd pick: #2 (Lilikoi) (6-1) - Unreliable type has early speed and a good post to use it from. She just failed Sept 17 at Belmont racing at this level, then tired after a troubled break in her follow up start Oct 9. The field she faced that day was much tougher than this and she should be involved from start to finish.
4th pick: #5 (Paw Annie) (12-1) - Stalking type has been competitive in two straight facing weaker. I don't believe she can win this, but longs hot may grab a minor award at a big price.
