Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (AUSSIE AWAKENING) (7-2) - Very lightly-raced, filly finished second at this level and distance Sept. 1 at Saratoga. It was only her second start and her first since debuting at Gulfstream in late March. Working fast for this and she gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #5 (Talkin Til Midnight) (3-1) - Even-paced type was beaten four lengths at this distance facing tougher Sept. 28 at Belmont. Trainer Linda Rice will drop her into a claimer for the first time and that should make this $180,000 daughter of 'Broken Vow' a serious win threat.
3rd pick: #2 (Cats Halo) (10-1) - Longshot has early speed, is improving, and draws a nice inside post. Unlike Belmont, the grass course at Aqueduct is much kinder to speed/stalking types. Blinkers go on and this filly should be involved from gate-to-wire.
4th pick: #1 (Weekend Hottie) (15-1) - Long time maiden draws the rail and has been competitive in all three previous starts on this course. She has enough positional speed to stay within range and is capable of impacting down the stretch at a very big price.
