Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (WORTH A SHOT) (3-1) - A home bred gelding by grass champ 'English Channel,' he was a very impressive maiden winner going seven furlongs Oct. 19 at Belmont. He won by almost six lengths while stopping the timer in a swift 1:21.80, and he takes the next logical step here. This longer trip is not a problem.
2nd pick: #6 (Impazible Odds) (6-1) - Longshot has been racing against high end 'open' company for some time since breaking his maiden going 8.5 furlongs at Belmont July 7. His stalking style should play well today, and he's capable of factoring at a square price.
3rd pick: #8 (Albie) (9-2) - Lightly raced home bred finished a close up 4th at this level going seven furlongs at Belmont Oct. 18. He's nearing his best after a long layoff (nine months) and is stringing starts together. Dangerous today.
4th pick: #2 (Risky Sour) (15-1) - This longshot moves back in with state breds after finishing close up in one of two facing 'open' company. He has the rail, and this old timer may land in the bottom of the tri and/or super at very large odds.
