Top pick: #2 (HORATIO) (9-5) - He probably should have broken his maiden by now as he's been competitive many times in the past when facing tougher. Speed/stalker has gone 11-0-5-4 to date, all in dirt sprints and has finished second in both starts on the main-track here. He runs first off a Gary Contessa claim and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #7 (Gino and the Jets) (8-1) - Price play has finished fourth in both sprints on fast tracks and both have come facing tougher. Training steadily for his first since Jan. 18, and trainer Jay Servis will drop him into a claimer for the first time.
3rd pick: #4 (Shot to Win) (2-1) - Another racing in a claimer for the first time, he raced evenly when finishing fourth on March 2nd in his first off a two month break. He should be competitive on the drop in class.
4th pick: #6 (Frontier Scout) (12-1) - Longshot raced evenly in his debut, then had a tough outside post in his latest. Drops and has hot riding apprentice Taylor Rice aboard. May do some damage at a big price.
