Top pick: #1 (RIPTHERUBBEROFF) (5-2) - Speedy filly has had tough outside posts in all three starts since returning from a 65 day break on Dec. 12. This afternoon she drops back into a claimer, draws the rail, and will be tough on the front end.
2nd pick: #4 (Delta Doyenne) (2-1) - The probable favorite, she raced wide and evenly when debuting here facing special weights on March 2nd. Trainer Tony Dutrow (34% second-time out) adds both lasix and blinkers and this filly is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Group Therapy) (7-2) - Home-bred has been freshened up since Feb. 2 and trainer John Kimmel will drop her into a claimer for the first time. Daughter of "Freud" has shown some ability and is a threat if the pace is fast/and or contested.
4th pick: #3 (Riveressed) (5-1) - Another getting both lasix and blinkers and she'll be moving up in class. In her debut here racing for a $35K tag on March 3rd, she set a pressured pace and held to finish third. Race was run in slow time and she'll need to do better this afternoon.
