Top pick: #3 (DANGEROUS COWBOY) (3-1) - Gelding tired last out racing for twice this price. It was his first start since Aug. 20th, and he probably needed the effort. Trainer Linda Rice (21% second back off a layoff) drops his price in half and adds blinkers. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Divine Storm) (9-5) - Colt tired in his local debut racing for a $75K tag on Feb. 5th. It was his first coming from the Fair Grounds in late Dec. Home bred is working fast and takes a big drop in price. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Subcontractor) (5-1) - He's raced evenly in both starts and has finished fourth in each. Stalker has the rail and is in the barn of leading trainer Dave Jacobson. Can factor with some improvement.
4th pick: #6 (Thomas Knight) (6-1) - Colt has finished second in both starts and has a speed/stalking style. He should be involved from start-to-finish, but faces a tougher field in this spot.
