Top pick: #4 (KISS AN ANGEL) (3-1) - She had no chance here on March 1st when she was bumped at the break and tired badly after rushing up to chase the pace. Filly by "Hard Spun" was racing for the first time since April 15 and probably need the race anyway. Trainer Chad Brown (29% second off of long layoffs) brings her back in two weeks, shortens her up in distance, and drope her into a claimer. She has a shot at upsetting the heavy favorite.
2nd pick: #1 (Nifty Shindig) (3-5) - The probable heavy favorite, she has sharp early speed, draws the rail, and is another dropping into a claimer for the first time. Well-bred, expensive ($175K) and it would have been easy to make her the top choiice.
3rd pick: #3 (Exclusive Bull) (6-1) - Philly Park invader has been competitive in all four starts and last out was beaten a neck there racing for a $40K tag on Feb. 19. Speed/stalker is improving and she'll be a square price.
4th pick: #2 (Yankeeindixieland) (15-1) - She's taken no money in either start, but both have come against tougher and she'll be dropping farther down after showing a bit of speed in her latest.
