Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (BALLIVOR) (5-2) - Lightly-raced and well bred, 4-year-old rallied while wide to finish third here at this level and distance Jan. 22. It was his second start back from a four month layoff and first following a Michelle Nevin claim. Son of 'Hard Spun' gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #3 (That Makes Sense) (7-2) - Gelding moves up in class in his second back from a two month freshening. He raced both wide and evenly for a $16K tag Feb. 16 in his first off the break and first after a Rudy Rodriguez claim. No-speed type has back class and should be finishing fast.
3rd pick: #2 (Mark Twain) (8-1) - With the rail runner scratched, this 6-year-old will break from the inside post. Gelding drops back down after an even effort facing tougher Feb. 10. He was only a 1/2 length behind 'Ballivor' Jan. 22 and a length in back of 'That Makes Sense' Dec. 16. Can factor at a square price.
4th pick: #4 (Proud Zip) (5-1) - The main speed, he's dropping in class for this attempt. Competitive in two of five facing better, his early speed makes him dangerous against this rather pace-less group.
