Top pick: #5 (CAT SWEEP) - Woodbine invader has been competitive a number of times racing on both synthetic surfaces and the turf. Working fine at Belmont for his first ever on conventional dirt and this field is weak for the level. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #7 (Storm n' Indian) - Colt by "Storm Cat" cost $2,050,000 and so far has earned back $340. That said, he's only raced once and is working very fast for this attempt for one of the best second out barns in the business (Kiaran McLaughlin 33%). Very much a win candidate and I almost put him on top.
3rd pick: #1 (Perfect Velocity) - Trainer Gary Contessa won three race here yesterday and has been picking-up steam for a week. This colt has some speed and draws the rail.
