Top pick: #3 (GOODNIGHT BRAD) - Gelding is developing good early speed since trainer Gary Gullo dropped him down in price Dec. 2. Moves towards the rail today, and should be able to secure the inside spot right after the break. Has a nice maintenance drill Jan. 1, and can win this at a nice price.
2nd pick: #5 (Double Shot) - Heavily bet last out he was involved in a pace duel until late stretch when he tired a bit to finish off the board. Barn brings him back quickly and drops him a level in claiming price. Jockey C.C. Lopez should have him in this from start to finish.
3rd pick: #7 (Wing Glider) - Takes a big drop in price, shortens up in distance, and goes turf-to-dirt for this attempt. Barn (Gary Contessa) won a race here yesterday and he's due to get hot here more sooner than later. Can contend on the drop.
