Top pick: #1 (EARLY ARGUMENT) - He rushed up to contest the pace sprinting on Nov. 22 after breaking a bit slowly. Race was his first for trainer Bruce Levine after shipping here from Calder. Working fast since, draws the rail, and he stretches-out in distance. Looks set for his best. He's coupled in the wagering with "Tapped Out Bruno".
2nd pick: #1a (Tapped Out Bruno) - Son of "Tapit" showed some late foot sprinting in the slop on Dec. 5 and will stretch-out in distance with Dominguez aboard. Trainer (Bruce Levine) is super second-time out (31%) and wins at a 25% rate when teamed-up with "Ramon".
3rd pick: #3 (Backcountry Boy) - Speed/stalker tired last out in the last 1/8th of a mile to finish fourth of 10 in a race common to many. Effort was his first in seven weeks and he's a threat today with any improvement.
4th pick: #2 (Johannesburg Smile) - He raced in traffic last out in his first in blinkers and first around two-turns. Nice drill since and he'll be a nice price.
