Race was her first since running 2nd when debuting at Saratoga on Aug 12 and trainer Chad Brown worked 5 times at Palm Meadows since her latest and before shipping north.
2nd pick: #1 (Ballerina Belle) (9-5) - The probable favorite, speed/stalker has finished 2nd in both her starts and was beaten small margins in each. $165K yearling has the rail and will be involved every step.
3rd pick: #2 (Clearly Confused) (10-1) - Price play had some serious traffic issues when finishing 4th at Hollywood Park last May in her debut. Heavily bet that day, she hasn't raced since, but is training fast for her return. Filly has a new trainer (Julio Canani 19% with new arrivals) and he adds blinkers ( 6 for his last 10).
4th pick: #5 (So Far) (3-1) - Regally bred filly makes her debut and daughter of "A.P.Indy" had a huge bullet half-mile breeze from the gate at Belmont on Feb 16th. Darley home-bred is in a barn (Kiaran McLaughlin) that is always better 2nd time out, but the work 8 days ago suggests this may be the exception.
