Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (IRON FORK) (9-2) - He showed little when debuting in a six-furlong 'off the turf' contest here Nov. 22. However, he had a terrible post (11 of 11) and had a very wide trip that afternoon. He drops into a claimer (a 26% winning angle by trainer Brad Cox) and stretches out in distance (28%). I think he'll run much better at a square price.
2nd pick: #4 (Bettor Bank On It) (7-5) - He 'won' here going a mile facing a bit weaker Nov. 23, but was disqualified and placed 2nd for bearing out into a rival just before the wire. Colt has worked twice since, moves up a bit, and is an obvious contender here.
3rd pick: #6 (Captain Frost) (7-2) - Colt tired while wide debuting here in a sprint on a sloppy surface Dec. 16. Trainer Linda Rice (27% second time out), drops him into a claimer (20%), and stretches him out in distance (25%). He's in the win mix.
