Top pick: #6 (EVERYTHING SWEET) (2-1) - Filly hasn't raced in two months and will be taking a significant drop in claiming price for her return. Daughter of "Bluegrass Cat" is training nicely and meets a very weak field in this spot and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Bacheliere) (5-2) - Tough call on this one as she hasn't shown much and the Pletcher barn will be dropping her to a new low and switching her back to the dirt. Blinkers go on (19% for Pletcher), and she'll show whatever she has against this crew.
3rd pick: #7 (Madison Ave Jo Jo) (8-1) - New York bred drops out of state-bred special weight contests to face $20K "open" maidens. She did flash a bit of speed on the grass Nov. 18 and has since come back with a useful half-mile dirt breeze Dec. 2. Can be in this a long ways at a nice price.
