Competitive in all three starts, $350,000 daughter of 'More Than Ready' drops in class after missing by just under a length here at this distance in a $100K stakes Nov. 4. She gets a slight edge here.
2nd pick: #9 (Celebrity Glitter) (9-2) - This filly by 'Tapit' sold for $500,000 as a yearling in Sept. of 2016. Speed/stalker has been a bit 'head strong' in both starts, but has also shown ability. Leading trainer Rudy Rodriguez has John Velazquez aboard for the first time, and I think she can factor at a square price.
3rd pick: #4 (Coffee Crush) (5-1) - Another expensive ($360,000) filly, she raced evenly at this level and distance when debuting at Belmont Sept. 27. Owned by celebrity chef Bobby Flay, she's working steadily and can factor at a square price.
4th pick: #5 (Beyond Grace) (4-1) - The field's most expensive filly, daughter of 'Uncle Mo' sold for $1,500,000 this past March as a 2yo in training. She raced evenly when debuting Oct. 8 at Belmont, is working steadily, and the second of the Chad Brown fillies has Javier Castellano back on the re-ride.
