Race was his first in 7 weeks and first in blinkers. For those who like "Beyer" figures, his win produced the highest any of these has ever run. Food for thought.
3rd pick: #3 (Nacho Friend) - Lightly raced colt was impressive in his two starts last season. Working very fast at Palm Meadows for his first race since late August and this will be his first race around two-turns. Contender, but he may not be "fully cranked" for this.
4th pick: #10 (Wow Wow Wow) - Oaklawn shipper brings fine early speed and won there last out at this distance in an impressive performance. Has a big work before leaving and Nakatani climbs aboard for the first time. Needs a "heady" ride from this outside draw.
